THE COUPLE
Lisa and Brandon are high school sweethearts who met in junior high but officially started dating in their senior year. After 5 years together, Lisa ventured off to Italy to take a 4 week pharmacy course. This was the longest amount of time they had spent apart in their relationship so Brandon flew out to meet Lisa and take in some of the sights of Italy. They toured around Cinque Terre and during a hike on one of the hilltops Brandon waited for the crowds to clear, got down on one knee and asked Lisa to marry him! She said “Of course” right away.
THE INSPIRATION
Lisa and her family have been travelling to Maui for many years and is a very special place for both of them. With their wedding taking place in the same beautiful location I knew we could put something incredible together for their adventure session. Something that is not hard to do when working with the stunning beaches, palm trees and gorgeous water in Hawaii. Lisa described what she wanted as tropical romance and I knew I wanted to capture their personalities as well as showcase their love for each other. I hope we managed to do just that and you enjoy these romantic photos of Lisa and Brandon.
