Edmonton Elopement and Wedding Photographer Barbara Rahal

Edmonton Wedding and Elopement Photographer

Hi, I am an Edmonton elopement and wedding photographer, and I would like to share something funny about how I met my Husband Simon.

I still remember the first time I saw my husband, Simon, I thought wow, this guy looks just like Henry Rollins, from the Rollins Band. The funny part is, I never really liked that band but I always thought the singer was rather handsome.

We met on a cruise ship and started dating circa 2005, between Alaska and Hawaii, two of my favourite places. Fast forward to 2007, I came to visit him in Vancouver. I guess we really liked each other because well, I never left. We eloped in Vancouver on July 1st, 2011. Our love story is kind of cute and funky, with many adventures but I will leave those for when you and I get to meet.

I know this is an about me page, but what I truly care about is to learn about you and your partner and what brought you together, to make you the unique couple that you are today.

I would love to know what you are really hoping for and looking forward to the most on your wedding day. Is it to dance the night away? Is it to visit with people you don’t get to see often? or are you hoping to have a simple, small intimate wedding day, no-frills and no fuss? Or would you rather travel somewhere new and have the greatest adventure elopement you could ever dream of?

Once you have looked around, not only at my work but other photographers’ work too. If you keep coming back to an image or two on my page, if they make you feel something, then I would love for us to meet.

I invite you to look around, and if you like what you see, I would love for us to connect.

Thanks, with gratitude Barb

A side note about my little business.

You know I am a wedding photographer, but what you may not know is that I am also an animal lover and I donate a % of my profit every year to organizations that help protect and care for animals in need.
